Overview

In 2012 the three academic schools were amalgamated into two faculties: Faculty of Enterprise and Humanities and Faculty of Film, Art and Creative Technology.

It is the leader in programmes for visual and media arts, digital media, and technology in the country.

IADT is a young institution which aims to be full of vibrancy both on campus and in the classroom. IADT attracts students from across the country and world, and continues to be filled with new ideas and creativity. Their pioneering approach to education programmes makes them unique in Irish third level education.

Courses in both the Faculty of Enterprise + Humanities and the Faculty of Film, Art + Creative Technologies are unique in that they combine practical, transferrable skills with academic learning. And because we believe in being active in research and practice, our students get to work with fantastic staff, many of whom are internationally acclaimed in their fields. Our fresh, modern campus in Dún Laoghaire is currently home to over 2300 students and staff.
