Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, Australia. It was founded in 1966 and was named after Matthew Flinders, a navigator who explored the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. The university offers teaching across four faculties: education, humanities and law, medicine, nursing and health sciences, science and engineering and social and behavioural sciences. It offers more than 160 undergraduate and postgraduate courses across these faculties.
